Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Pickersoft ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the AI Anime mobile application (the "App"). AI Anime is an AI image generator that turns your text prompts and optional reference photos into anime-style images, and can also turn images into short videos. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.
Summary
- No account or login is required to use the App.
- Your text prompts and any reference photos you upload are sent to our generation backend to produce images and videos.
- Generated images and videos are stored on your device. You may also choose to publish them to your device Photos.
- We use Google services (AdMob, Firebase, Google Cloud) for ads, analytics, crash reporting, messaging, and prompt translation.
- We support advertising consent controls (GDPR / Google UMP) and you can reset or opt out at any time.
Information We Collect
Content you provide for generation
- Text prompts (including negative prompts and selected style words) you enter to generate images or videos.
- Reference photos / images you upload or select for image-to-image, image-to-video, or in-app editing (e.g., sketches and crops).
- Chat messages you send when using the in-app AI chat feature.
This content is transmitted to our generation backend server (and, for translation, to Google Cloud Translate) solely to perform the requested generation, translation, or chat response. We do not require your real name, and you do not need an account.
Device, usage, and diagnostic data
- Analytics and usage data via Firebase Analytics — e.g., app events, feature usage, session information, device model, operating system version, language, and general app configuration.
- Crash and stability data to help us diagnose and fix problems.
- Advertising identifier (Advertising ID) used by Google AdMob to serve and measure ads.
- Push/messaging tokens via Firebase Cloud Messaging so we can deliver notifications.
- Device integrity signals via Firebase App Check and Google Play Integrity, and a local root-status check, used to protect our backend from abuse and fraud.
Purchase data
Subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing. We receive a purchase/entitlement status so we can unlock paid features. We do not collect or store your full payment card details; payment is handled by Google Play.
How We Use Information
- To generate images, videos, and chat responses from your prompts and uploaded photos.
- To translate prompts you enter into a supported language for generation (on-device language identification plus Google Cloud Translate).
- To operate, maintain, and improve the App and fix bugs.
- To show advertising and, where you consent, personalized advertising.
- To process subscriptions and unlock premium features.
- To protect against abuse, fraud, and security threats.
How Prompts and Uploaded Photos Are Processed
When you request a generation, your prompt and any uploaded reference photo are sent over the internet to our generation backend server, which produces the resulting image or video and returns it to your device. Reference photos are used only to fulfill your generation request. Generated media is delivered back to your device for local storage.
Storage of Generated Media
Generated images and videos are saved to the App's private storage on your device (including an in-app secure folder you can protect with a password). The App does not request broad media or external-storage permissions. If you choose to publish a generated image or video, the App can save that item to your device Photos so it appears in your gallery. Items you keep only inside the App remain in app-private storage and are removed if you uninstall the App.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob (advertising, including the Advertising ID) — policies.google.com/privacy
- Google Firebase (Analytics, Cloud Messaging, App Check, Remote Config, Realtime Database) — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Google Cloud (Cloud Translate for prompt translation) — cloud.google.com/terms/cloud-privacy-notice

Our own generation backend receives the prompts, reference photos, and chat messages you submit in order to produce results.
Advertising and Personalization (Consent)
The App displays ads through Google AdMob. Depending on your region (for example, the EEA, UK, and Switzerland under GDPR), we use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent management to ask for your consent before serving personalized ads. You can:
- Choose non-personalized ads where that option is offered.
- Reset or change your ad consent choices from within the App's settings (privacy options).
- Opt out of ad personalization in your device settings, and reset your Advertising ID, at any time.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) and is intended for an adult, age-appropriate audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App restricts prompts related to children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
Data Retention
Prompts, reference photos, and chat messages sent for generation are processed to fulfill your request and are retained only as long as needed to provide the service, ensure security, and meet legal obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Analytics and advertising data are retained according to the providers' standard retention periods. Generated media stored on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the App.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted (HTTPS) transmission to our backend and Google services, and device-integrity checks to reduce abuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Because the App does not use accounts, much of your data is either stored locally on your device (which you can delete in-app or by uninstalling) or processed transiently. International Transfers
The third-party providers we use (Google) and our backend may process data on servers located in other countries. Where required, appropriate safeguards are applied to such transfers.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date below and, where appropriate, through in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
