PrivacyMask 개인정보처리방침

시행일: 2026년 6월 4일 · iOS 및 Android용 PrivacyMask 앱에 적용됩니다.

PrivacyMask는 문서·이미지 속 개인정보를 가려주는 완전 온디바이스(on-device) 도구입니다. 이 앱은 서버가 없으며, 개발자는 사용자의 어떠한 개인정보도 수집·저장·전송하지 않습니다. 모든 처리는 사용자의 기기 안에서만 이루어집니다.

핵심 요약

• 계정·회원가입·이메일·전화번호가 전혀 필요 없습니다.
• 서버로 어떤 문서나 이미지도 전송하지 않습니다. OCR(문자 인식), 개인정보 탐지, 마스킹 처리는 모두 기기 내에서 수행됩니다.
• 광고, 분석(Analytics) SDK, 제3자 추적기를 사용하지 않습니다.
• 기본 설정에서는 마스킹이 완료된 결과물만 저장하고, 원본 이미지는 저장하지 않습니다.
• 아무것도 개발자에게 전송되지 않으므로, 개발자는 사용자의 문서·이미지·개인정보를 볼 수 없습니다.

무엇을, 어디에 저장하나요

사용자가 선택한 사진·파일은 마스킹을 위해 기기 내에서만 처리됩니다. 결과물 저장은 설정의 “저장 정책”을 따릅니다.

• 저장 안 함 — 결과물을 앱에 저장하지 않습니다.
• 마스킹 결과만 저장(기본값) — 가려진 결과 이미지만 앱 내부 저장소(갤러리)에 저장하고, 원본은 저장하지 않습니다.
• 원본과 결과 모두 저장 — 사용자가 직접 선택한 경우에만 원본도 함께 앱 내부에 저장합니다.

이 파일들은 사용자의 기기 안에만 존재하며 외부로 전송되지 않습니다. 사용자가 직접 “사진에 저장” 또는 “공유”를 누르면, 운영체제의 사진 앱이나 선택한 앱으로만 전달됩니다. 설정의 “앱 종료 시 임시 파일 삭제”를 켜면 임시·캐시 파일이 정리됩니다.

기기 권한

• 사진 / 파일 — 사용자가 마스킹할 이미지를 직접 선택하기 위해 사용합니다. 선택한 이미지만 기기 내에서 처리됩니다.
• 카메라 — 문서를 촬영해 마스킹하기 위해 사용합니다. 촬영 영상은 기기 내에서만 처리되며 저장·전송되지 않습니다.
• 사진에 저장 — 사용자가 원할 때 가려진 결과 이미지를 사진 앱에 저장하기 위해 사용합니다.

온디바이스 처리 및 제3자 구성요소

문자 인식에는 Google ML Kit의 온디바이스 텍스트 인식 기능을 사용합니다. 이 기능은 기기 내에서 동작하며 이미지를 Google이나 외부 서버로 전송하지 않습니다. 화면 애니메이션 표시에 Lottie 라이브러리를 사용하며, 이 또한 네트워크 통신을 하지 않습니다.

분석 및 진단

제3자 분석·광고·크래시 리포팅 서비스를 사용하지 않습니다. 운영체제가 자체적으로 수집하는 진단 정보는 기기에 남으며 개발자에게 전송되지 않습니다.

아동

이 앱은 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 누구로부터도 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다.

이용자의 권리 및 데이터 삭제

모든 데이터는 사용자의 기기 안에 있습니다. 앱 내 갤러리에서 항목을 삭제하거나 앱을 삭제하면 언제든지 제거할 수 있습니다. 개발자는 사용자의 데이터를 보관하지 않으므로 개발자가 대신 삭제할 데이터가 없습니다.

방침 변경

본 방침이 변경되면 갱신된 내용이 새로운 시행일과 함께 이 주소에 게시됩니다.

PrivacyMask Privacy Policy

Effective date: 4 June 2026 · Applies to the PrivacyMask app on iOS and Android.

PrivacyMask is a fully on-device tool for redacting personal information in documents and images. The app has no servers, and the developer does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data. All processing happens entirely on your device.

The short version

• No account, sign-up, email, or phone number required.
• No document or image is ever sent to a server. OCR (text recognition), personal-info detection, and masking all run on your device.
• No advertising, no analytics SDKs, no third-party trackers.
• By default only the masked result is saved; the original image is not saved.
• Nothing is sent to the developer, so the developer cannot see your documents, images, or personal information.

What is stored, and where

Photos or files you select are processed only on your device for masking. How results are stored follows the “Storage policy” in Settings:

• Don't save — results are not stored in the app.
• Save masked result only (default) — only the masked image is saved to the app's internal gallery; the original is not saved.
• Save original and result — only if you choose this, the original is also stored inside the app.

These files live only on your device and are never uploaded. If you tap “Save to Photos” or “Share,” the file is handed only to your OS Photos app or the app you pick. Turning on “Delete temporary files on app exit” in Settings clears scratch/cache files.

Device permissions

• Photos / Files — so you can choose the image to redact. Only the selected image is processed, on-device.
• Camera — to capture a document for redaction. Frames are processed on-device and are never stored or transmitted.
• Add to Photos — to save the masked result to your Photos app when you choose to.

On-device processing & third-party components

Text recognition uses Google ML Kit's on-device text recognition, which runs on your device and does not send images to Google or any external server. The Lottie library is used to display an animation and also performs no network communication.

Analytics and diagnostics

PrivacyMask uses no third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services. Any diagnostics gathered by the operating system remain on your device and are not sent to the developer.

Children

PrivacyMask is not directed to children, and it collects no personal information from anyone.

Your control and data deletion

All of your data lives on your device. You can remove it any time by deleting items in the in-app gallery or by uninstalling the app. Because the developer stores none of your data, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
