AnimalPicker("앱")는 사진 속 얼굴을 분석해 닮은 동물상(강아지상·고양이상 등)을 재미로 보여주는 엔터테인먼트 앱(iOS·Android)입니다. 모든 분석은 기기 안에서 이뤄지며, 계정이나 로그인 없이 사용합니다. 본 방침은 앱이 어떤 정보를 다루고, 어떻게 사용하며, 어떤 외부 서비스에 의존하는지 설명합니다.
1. 기기 내 처리 (사진은 업로드되지 않습니다)
- 촬영하거나 가져온 사진은 전적으로 기기 안에서 분석됩니다 — 얼굴 감지는 iOS에서 Apple Vision, Android에서 Google ML Kit(기기 내장 모델)로 기기 안에서 실행하고, 동물상 분류는 앱에 내장된 분류 모델로 수행합니다.
- 사진 원본과 분석 결과는 당사(Pickersoft) 서버로 전송되거나 업로드되지 않습니다. 당사는 이를 수신할 서버 자체를 운영하지 않습니다.
2. 얼굴 데이터 (Face Data)
- 앱은 동물상 결과 계산만을 위해 기기 안에서만 얼굴을 감지하고 얼굴 영역의 시각적 특징(눈·얼굴형 등 기하학적 특징 포함)을 분석합니다. 이 처리는 얼굴 감지 프레임워크(iOS: Apple Vision, Android: Google ML Kit) 및 기기 내장 분류 모델로 전부 사용자 기기에서 실행되며, 신원 확인(얼굴 인식)이 아닌 재미용 유사도 분류에만 쓰입니다.
- 당사는 얼굴 데이터를 수집·저장·보관하지 않습니다. 분석 중 생성되는 얼굴 특징값은 결과 계산 직후 기기 메모리에서 즉시 폐기되며, 기기 밖으로 전송되지 않습니다. 당사 측 얼굴 데이터의 보관 기간은 0(영)입니다 — 애초에 수집하지 않으므로 저장되는 얼굴 데이터가 없고, 따라서 보관 목적이나 보관 기간 자체가 존재하지 않습니다.
- 당사는 얼굴 데이터를 어떠한 제3자와도 공유하지 않으며, 앱을 통해 얼굴 데이터를 수신하거나 저장하는 제3자도 없습니다. 얼굴 감지 프레임워크(Apple Vision, Google ML Kit)와 분류 모델은 전적으로 기기 안에서 실행되며 사진이나 얼굴 데이터를 Apple, Google, 당사(Pickersoft) 또는 그 밖의 누구에게도 전송하지 않습니다.
- 분석 결과로 기기에 저장되는 것은 동물상 결과값(동물 종류·퍼센트·특징 라벨)뿐이며, 사진 원본이나 얼굴 특징값은 앱에 저장되지 않습니다. 사진은 사용자의 사진 보관함에 사용자의 통제 하에 남아 있을 뿐입니다.
3. 기기에 저장되는 정보
- 분석 기록: 동물상 결과(동물 종류·퍼센트·특징 라벨·날짜)는 기기 내부 앱 저장소에만 저장됩니다. 사진은 저장되지 않습니다.
- 설정값: 구독 상태 캐시 등 앱 설정은 기기에만 저장됩니다.
- 이 정보는 앱 내에서 언제든 삭제할 수 있으며, 앱을 삭제하면 함께 제거됩니다.
4. 권한
- 카메라: 동물상 분석용 사진을 촬영하기 위해 사용합니다(iOS). Android에서는 기기의 기본 카메라 앱으로 촬영하므로 앱이 카메라 권한을 요청하지 않습니다.
- 사진 보관함: 기존 사진을 가져와 분석하기 위해 사용합니다. Android에서는 시스템 사진 선택기를 사용해 사용자가 고른 사진 한 장에만 접근하며, 저장소 권한을 요청하지 않습니다.
- 사진은 기기 내 분석에만 쓰이며 외부로 전송되지 않습니다.
5. 구독 결제
- Pro 구독 결제는 iOS에서 Apple App Store(StoreKit), Android에서 Google Play 결제를 통해 처리됩니다. 당사는 결제 카드 정보에 접근할 수 없으며, 각 스토어의 처리는 해당 개인정보처리방침을 따릅니다: apple.com/legal/privacy · policies.google.com/privacy
- 구독 관리·해지: iOS는 설정 › Apple ID › 구독, Android는 Google Play 스토어 › 프로필 › 결제 및 정기 결제 › 정기 결제.
6. 광고 (선택형 리워드 광고)
- 무료 사용자는 결과 화면에서 직접 선택할 때만 짧은 리워드 광고를 보고 이번 결과의 전체 분석을 한 번 열 수 있습니다. 광고는 Google AdMob(Google Mobile Ads SDK)이 제공하며, Pro 구독자에게는 표시되지 않습니다.
- 광고를 불러오고 보여주기 위해 AdMob은 광고 식별자(iOS의 IDFA — 사용자가 추적을 허용한 경우에만, Android의 광고 ID), IP 주소, 기기 정보(모델·OS 버전·언어), 광고 상호작용 정보(노출·클릭 등)를 수집해 Google로 전송할 수 있습니다. 이 정보는 광고 제공·측정, 부정 사용 방지, 그리고 사용자가 허용한 경우 맞춤 광고에 쓰입니다(Google의 파트너 사이트 데이터 사용).
- 사진, 얼굴 이미지, 얼굴 특징값, 동물상 결과는 광고에 쓰이거나 광고 SDK·Google에 전달되지 않습니다. 분석은 기존과 같이 전부 기기 안에서만 이뤄집니다.
- 선택권: iOS에서는 앱이 처음 광고를 보여주기 전에 추적 허용 여부를 묻습니다(App Tracking Transparency). 거부해도 광고는 맞춤형이 아닌 형태로 동작하며, 설정 › 개인정보 보호 및 보안 › 추적에서 언제든 바꿀 수 있습니다. Android에서는 기기 설정 › Google › 광고에서 광고 ID를 삭제하거나 재설정할 수 있습니다. 유럽경제지역(EEA)·영국·스위스 사용자는 처음 실행할 때 동의 화면이 표시되며, 앱 설정의 "광고 개인정보 설정"에서 선택을 바꿀 수 있습니다.
7. 분석·추적 도구
- 위 6항의 광고 SDK 외에 분석(analytics) SDK나 별도의 추적 도구는 포함되어 있지 않습니다.
- Android의 Google ML Kit 진단 정보: Android 앱에 포함된 Google ML Kit는 기능 개선과 오류 진단을 위해 기기 정보(제조사·모델·OS 버전), 앱 패키지명·버전, 사용자나 기기를 식별하지 않는 설치 단위 식별자, 성능 지표(처리 시간·오류 코드 등)를 HTTPS로 Google에 전송할 수 있습니다. 사진, 얼굴 이미지, 얼굴 특징값, 분석 결과는 전송되지 않습니다. Google은 이 정보를 제3자에게 이전하지 않습니다(ML Kit 데이터 공개).
8. 아동의 개인정보
- 앱은 만 13세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다. 모든 분석이 기기 안에서 이뤄지므로 어떤 사용자의 개인정보도 당사에 전송되지 않습니다.

Privacy Policy
AnimalPicker (the "App") is an entertainment app (iOS and Android) that analyzes a face in a photo and shows, just for fun, which animal face type you resemble. All analysis happens on your device, with no account or sign-in. This policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and which external services it relies on.
1. On-Device Processing (photos are never uploaded)
- Photos you take or import are analyzed entirely on your device, Face detection runs on-device via Apple Vision on iOS and Google ML Kit (bundled on-device model) on Android, and the animal-face classification uses a model bundled in the App.
- Your photos and analysis results are never transmitted or uploaded to our (Pickersoft) servers. We do not operate any server that could receive them.
2. Face Data
- Solely to compute your animal-face result, the App detects a face and analyzes visual characteristics of the face region (including geometric features such as eyes and face shape) only on your device. This processing runs entirely on-device via the face-detection framework (iOS: Apple Vision, Android: Google ML Kit) and a bundled classification model, and is used only for entertainment-style similarity classification — never for identification (face recognition).
- We do not collect, store, or retain face data. Face features generated during analysis are discarded immediately from device memory after the result is computed and never leave your device. Our retention period for face data is zero (0) — we never receive it in the first place, so no face data is stored and no retention purpose or period exists.
- We do not share face data with any third party, and no third party receives or stores face data through the App. The face-detection frameworks (Apple Vision, Google ML Kit) and the classification model run entirely on-device and do not send photos or face data to Apple, Google, us (Pickersoft), or anyone else.
- The only analysis output saved on your device is the result itself (animal type, percentages, trait labels) — neither the photo nor any face features are stored by the App. Your photos simply remain in your photo library under your control.
3. Information Stored on Your Device
- Result history: animal-face results (animal type, percentages, trait labels, date) are stored only in the App's on-device storage. Photos are not stored.
- Settings: app settings such as a cached subscription status are stored only on your device.
- You can delete this information in the App at any time; deleting the App removes it as well.
4. Permissions
- Camera: to take a photo for analysis (iOS). On Android the App uses your device's camera app, so it does not request the camera permission.
- Photo Library: to import an existing photo for analysis. On Android the App uses the system photo picker and can access only the single photo you choose; it does not request storage permission.
- Photos are used only for on-device analysis and are never transmitted anywhere.
5. Subscriptions
- Pro subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store (StoreKit) on iOS and Google Play Billing on Android. We never see your payment details; each store's processing is governed by its own privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy · policies.google.com/privacy
- Manage or cancel: on iOS, Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play Store › Profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions.
6. Advertising (optional rewarded ads)
- Free users can choose to watch a short rewarded ad on the result screen to open the full breakdown for that one result. Ads are shown only when you tap to watch one, are served by Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK), and are never shown to Pro subscribers.
- To load and show ads, AdMob may collect and send to Google an advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS — only if you allow tracking; the Android Advertising ID on Android), your IP address, device information (model, OS version, language), and ad interaction data (impressions, clicks). Google uses this to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and, where you allow it, personalize ads (How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services).
- Photos, face images, face features, and animal-face results are never used for advertising and are never passed to the ad SDK or Google. Analysis remains entirely on-device.
- Your choices: on iOS, the App asks for tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency) before the first ad; if you decline, ads still work without personalization, and you can change this anytime in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. On Android you can delete or reset your Advertising ID in device Settings › Google › Ads. Users in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland see a consent screen on first launch and can change their choice in the App's Settings › "Ad privacy options".
7. Analytics and Tracking Tools
- Apart from the ad SDK described in section 6, the App contains no analytics SDKs or other tracking tools.
- Google ML Kit diagnostics on Android: Google ML Kit, included in the Android app, may send device information (manufacturer, model, OS version), the app package name and version, per-installation identifiers that do not identify a user or physical device, and performance metrics (such as latency and error codes) to Google over HTTPS for diagnostics and usage analytics. Photos, face images, face features, and results are never sent. Google does not transfer this data to third parties (ML Kit data disclosure).
8. Children's Privacy
- The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because all analysis is on-device, no user's personal information is transmitted to us.
