AI피커("앱")는 매일 AI 소식을 한국어 브리핑으로 전해주는 iOS 앱입니다. 무료로 오늘의 브리핑을 제공하며, Pro 구독으로 아카이브 전체·검색·심층 해설을 이용할 수 있습니다. 앱은 계정·로그인 없이 사용합니다. 본 방침은 앱이 어떤 정보를 다루고, 어떻게 사용하는지 설명합니다.
1. 수집하는 정보
- 설치 식별자 (Install UUID): 앱을 처음 실행할 때 기기에서 무작위로 생성되는 식별자입니다. Pro 구독 상태를 서버에서 확인(구독 검증)하는 데에만 사용되며, 이름·이메일 등 실제 신원과 연결되지 않습니다.
- 구독 영수증 정보: Pro 구독을 검증하기 위해 App Store 구독 영수증(거래 정보)을 서버로 전송·확인하고, 구독 상태·만료일 등 최소한의 결과만 저장합니다.
수집하는 정보는 위 두 가지가 전부이며, 오직 구독 기능 제공을 위해서만 사용합니다.
2. 수집하지 않는 정보
- 이름·이메일·전화번호 등 개인을 직접 식별하는 정보 (앱에 가입·로그인이 없습니다)
- 위치 정보 — 앱은 위치 권한을 요청하지 않습니다.
- 연락처 — 앱은 연락처 권한을 요청하지 않습니다.
- 광고 식별자(IDFA)나 광고·추적 데이터 — 앱은 사용자를 추적하지 않습니다.
- 제3자 분석·크래시 SDK를 통한 행동 데이터 — 앱에는 광고·분석 SDK가 포함되어 있지 않습니다.
3. AI 생성 콘텐츠 고지
앱에 표시되는 뉴스 요약·"왜 중요한가" 해설·심층 해설은 AI(대규모 언어 모델)가 작성한 콘텐츠입니다. AI 생성 콘텐츠는 사실과 다르거나 부정확할 수 있으므로, 정확한 내용은 각 카드에 함께 제공되는 원문 링크를 확인하세요. 콘텐츠 생성은 전적으로 당사 서버에서 이뤄지며, 사용자의 개인정보나 기기 데이터가 AI 모델에 전송되는 일은 없습니다.
4. 뉴스 소스
- 브리핑에 사용되는 뉴스는 언론사·기업·연구기관이 공개한 RSS 피드를 기반으로 수집합니다.
- 앱은 기사 원문을 재게시하지 않으며, 자체 작성한 한국어 요약과 함께 출처 표기와 원문 링크를 제공합니다. 원문 열람은 해당 언론사·웹사이트에서 이뤄지며, 그 과정에는 각 사이트의 개인정보처리방침이 적용됩니다.
5. 구독 결제
AI피커 Pro 구독 결제는 Apple App Store(Apple ID)를 통해 처리됩니다. 본 앱은 카드 번호 등 결제 정보를 직접 받지 않으며, 결제·갱신·환불은 Apple이 처리합니다.

6. 데이터 보관 및 삭제
- 설치 식별자와 구독 상태는 구독 검증 목적으로만 서버에 보관됩니다.
- 앱 내 설정의 데이터 삭제 기능으로 서버에 저장된 프로필(설치 식별자·구독 상태)을 언제든 삭제할 수 있으며, pickerdotcom@gmail.com으로 삭제를 요청하실 수도 있습니다.
- 읽음 상태 등 앱 사용 기록은 기기에만 저장되며, 앱을 삭제하면 함께 제거됩니다.
7. 아동의 개인정보
본 앱은 만 14세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다.

AI Picker (the "App") is an iOS app that delivers a daily briefing of AI news in Korean. Today's briefing is free; a Pro subscription unlocks the full archive, search, and deep-dive explainers. The App is used without an account or login. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles and how it is used.
1. Information We Collect
- Install identifier (Install UUID): a random identifier generated on your device the first time you launch the App. It is used solely to verify your Pro subscription status on our server, and is never linked to your real identity such as your name or email.
- Subscription receipt information: to verify a Pro subscription, the App sends your App Store subscription receipt (transaction information) to our server, and we store only the minimal result — subscription status and expiry date.
These two items are the only data we collect, and they are used exclusively to provide the subscription feature.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
- Directly identifying information such as name, email, or phone number (the App has no sign-up or login).
- Location — the App never requests location permission.
- Contacts — the App never requests contacts permission.
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA) or any ad/tracking data — the App does not track you.
- Behavioral data via third-party analytics or crash SDKs — the App contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.
3. AI-Generated Content Notice
The news summaries, "why it matters" notes, and deep-dive explainers shown in the App are content written by AI (large language models). AI-generated content may be inaccurate or differ from the facts — please check the original-source link provided with every card for the authoritative version. Content generation happens entirely on our servers; no personal information or device data of yours is ever sent to an AI model.
4. News Sources
- News in the briefing is collected from publicly available RSS feeds published by news outlets, companies, and research institutions.
- The App does not republish original articles; it provides its own Korean-language summaries together with source attribution and a link to the original article. Reading the original happens on the publisher's website, which is governed by that site's own privacy policy.
5. Subscription Payments
AI Picker Pro subscription payments are processed through the Apple App Store (Apple ID). The App never directly receives card numbers or other payment-instrument data; billing, renewal, and refunds are handled by Apple.

6. Data Retention and Deletion
- The install identifier and subscription status are retained on our server solely for subscription verification.
- You can delete your server-side profile (install identifier and subscription status) at any time with the Delete Data feature in the App's settings, or by emailing pickerdotcom@gmail.com.
- Reading history and preferences are stored only on your device and are removed when you uninstall the App.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes and Contact
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes to the service or applicable law. Material changes will be communicated through the App or this page.
